Need suggestions for a good instructional photography site?

breal4all2c asked:

I am very interested in learning digital photography. I want to gain some knowledge so I know what to look for in a camera. I will need my photos to be as professional as possible so I am saving for a high quality camera that I can add lenses to in the future. (I am planning to take classes, eventually.) I have limited access to the Internet so I don’t want to use up my time searching for a good site. I hope someone out there can give me some knowledgeable direction.
